Our Team of Pediatricians is unique in their comprehensive understanding of the latest developments in pediatric medicine to provide the many facets of primary infant care, child and adolescent care up to 14 years of age and to improve the overall health status of children by providing a high level of child health care and educating their parents under the supervision of highly experienced and competent consultants and specialists.

The Family Care Hospital’s Pediatrics and Neonatology Department’s sub-units provides a unique 24 hours healthcare services which suits the needs of different babies.
The Pediatrics and Neonatology department
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is equipped with the latest ventilators and equipment required for full care of critically ill newborns and premature babies. It has a unit designated for the FCH newborns and the other unit for the external babies. It is equipped with 26 incubators including two isolation rooms.
⊳ Neonatal Intensive Care Unit:
The neonatal intensive care unit equipped with the latest ventilators and equipment required for full care of sick newborns and premature babies.
The Nursery has a bed capacity of 20 cribs. An individualized, specialized and cutting edge care of newborns at FCH Nursery is available, taking a family focused approach to the care of the infants.
⊳ Out-patient Clinics:
The Pediatric Clinics are well equipped in a modern way that provides special care for children and newborn. It has a vaccination clinic which provides the vaccines for children and a clinic for pediatric pulmonary diseases specialized for the treatment of children with asthma and other pulmonary diseases.
⊳ In-patient Ward:
The in-patient ward provides hospital services for admitted children and adolescents who are in need of general pediatric care.
⊳ Pediatric Emergency:
Well equipped to deal with all pediatric emergency cases. Furthermore, the pediatric emergency is staffed with specialized pediatrician and pediatric nurses all the time.
